Forged in the fires of hardship, Marquee is a nation that refuses to break. Having survived the devastation of The Blight and the bitter ravages of war, it has repeatedly clawed its way back from the brink of ruin. Today, its people stand proud and thriving, fiercely dedicated to protecting the peace they bled to build.

But out in the countryside, that hard won peace is fraying. In the usually quiet farming village of Resolve, an aggressive band of bandits and outlaws have struck, taking the town's healer hostage. With the countries military occupied with the forces of Prima at the border, the village has no one else to rely on. The Mayor is issuing a desperate call to arms: come to their aid, rescue the captives, and show these bandits that the people of Marquee are no easy targets!
